2011-02-17 09:50:07 -- San Diego -- We have introduced the first of several planned enhancements to the crm ticketing system. This includes the ability for your customers to participate in the crm ticketing via the customer account login on your website.
This new functionality "allow customers to create/update tickets" must be enabled by going to Setup / CRM / Configuration, all existing websites are defaulted to "internal use only" (previous behavior).
When enabled to allow customers to participate your customers will automatically receive emails when tickets are created (by them or you) and they can update or close those tickets.
Additional updates including extensive returns, email integration, and more are coming soon, however we feel this portion will have immediate benefit to clients and so we decided to release this portion while we continue development and testing on the other portions.
