Zoovy Announces: Enhancements to eBay Shipping Notifications

2011-03-03 14:47:26 -- San Diego -- Zoovy now sends carrier + tracking to eBay with our standard "order completed" notification (which happens with the 'ship' event). In addition we have added a new message to your email messages area with a message id of: "OSHIPEBAY"

This message can be customized by going to Setup / Email Messages, however the default should work for most clients **EXCEPT** those which have Setup / Customer Admin Config / enable bypass of customer login set to "OFF" (this message assumes the setting is turned on).

The default message instructs the eBay Buyer that you have shipped the item, it also includes tracking numbers, and also a link to your website to see the tracking status. (The link will only work if "Enable bypass of login/password requirement for order status checking." is turned on, otherwise the client will need to have an account and login). The default message also includes a generic blurb about offering great customer service, and requests that they provide you with 5 star feedback in all categories.

The "my eBay" message can be disabled by setting the SUBJECT for the message to blank. In addition it is only sent when there are one or more tracking #'s in the order.
