Zoovy Announces: Upcoming Feature: Amazon Flexible Payment Service

2008-07-31 12:54:42 -- San Diego -- Today some information became available related to Amazon's upcoming website payment service that will compete directly with Google Checkout and Paypal. This story was published by a handful of media outlets, but the details have not been fully released by Amazon.

Amazon's new Upcoming Payment Solution

Zoovy has been working on this project with Amazon, and since some information is now public we have been given permission to announce that we will begin a pilot in the next few weeks. We are specifically looking for up to 5 merchants (who will need to be approved by Amazon) to participate in this pilot.

If you would like your website to be one of the very first available on the Internet to allow buyers to pay using their Amazon account (wallet) then please let us know. BPP members will be given preference.

We expect this feature to be available to all sites well in advance of xmas.
